Book-Matched Spalted Maple Burl Cookie Table — Fully Custom, One of a Kind

Please note: the main photo is an AI rendering showing what these slabs could look like as a finished table. The slabs themselves are real, and your piece is built fully custom from them.

Two book-matched cookies of spalted maple burl. One tree, cut as two matching rounds — and not just any tree. This is some of the rarest maple we have ever gotten our hands on: spalted figure, burl character, and gray and silver tones running through the grain that you almost never see in maple.

This listing is for a table built from these two cookies, made to order and customized any way you want it:

— Any configuration: the pair joined as one big statement top, a single-cookie table, cut and rejoined, river-style layouts, coffee table, dining table, desk, or a configuration you dream up
— Bowties: the cookies can be bowtied together or detailed with hand-cut bowtie inlays in your choice of wood
— Legs are wide open: steel, wood, pedestal, live-edge slab legs, or send us a design you like
— Size: final dimensions are set by the configuration you choose, up to the full size of the cookies; contact us for the exact raw measurements
— Finish: our whitening polyurethane keeps maple pale instead of ambering it, or we can finish to your spec

Every piece is handmade in our Billings, Montana shop. 35 years in furniture making. Built to last generations. Made in America — WoodNLUX Inc.

This is a one-of-a-kind material: when these cookies are built out, there are no more like them. Contact us before ordering if you'd like to talk through a configuration — we're glad to sketch it out with you. Build timeline depends on the configuration and is confirmed with you before we start.
