The Piece: The Walnut River Sink This masterpiece features a thick slab of premium, rich American Walnut wood with natural live edges. The central basin is seamlessly integrated, allowing water to flow directly onto the resin “riverbed.” The Craftsmanship Our artisans hand-select each piece of walnut for its character and grain pattern. One-Year Limited Warranty

1. Coverage and Term

[Slab Resin Lab] (“the Manufacturer”) warrants to the original purchaser that this Live Edge Walnut & Epoxy Table shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to residential use under normal household conditions.

2. Scope of Warranty

This warranty covers:

  • Structural Failures: Major warping, bowing, or twisting of the wood slabs that exceeds industry standards for natural seasonal movement.

  • Adhesion Failures: Separation or delamination of the epoxy resin from the wood interface.

  • Joinery: Structural failure of the leg mounting points or any integrated joinery due to craftsmanship errors.

3. Exclusions and Natural Characteristics

Wood is an organic, "living" material that responds to its environment. As such, the following are not considered defects and are excluded from this warranty:

  • Seasonal Movement: Minor expansion and contraction (hairline cracks or slight surface checks) resulting from changes in humidity and temperature.

  • Environmental Damage: Damage caused by placement in environments with extreme humidity levels (below 35% or above 55%), exposure to direct sunlight (UV fading), or proximity to heat sources (fireplaces, radiators).

  • Misuse/Abuse: Scratches, dents, burns, water rings, or chemical damage resulting from improper cleaning or lack of coaster use.

  • Natural Variation: Natural knots, grain patterns, and minor air bubbles within the resin that are inherent to the handcrafted process.

4. Maintenance Requirements

This warranty is contingent upon the owner following the provided Care & Maintenance Guide. Failure to properly oil/wax the surface (if applicable) or using abrasive chemical cleaners will void this warranty.

5. Remedy

In the event of a valid claim within the one-year period, [Your Company Name] will, at its sole discretion:

  1. Repair the product at no charge using original or similar materials.

  2. Replace the product with a piece of equal value. Note: Because every slab is unique, a replacement will not be an identical match to the original.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Manufacturer’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the product. The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages (such as loss of use) resulting from a product defect.

7. How to File a Claim

To initiate a claim, please contact [Mark@slabresinlab.com] with your original order number, a description of the issue, and high-resolution photographs of the defect.

Return & Refund Policy

At [SlabResinLab], we take immense pride in the craftsmanship of our one-of-the-kind pieces. Because each table is handcrafted and utilizes unique organic materials, returns are handled under the following strict guidelines:

1. Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return request. After 30 days, all sales are considered final and are only eligible for coverage under our One-Year Limited Warranty.

2. Restocking Fee

Because our tables are large-scale, high-value items that require significant labor to inspect, refinish, and re-list, all returns are subject to a 40% restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from your final refund amount.

3. Return Shipping

The buyer is responsible for all costs associated with return shipping. Due to the weight and fragile nature of live-edge resin furniture, returns must be shipped via a crated freight carrier.

  • Standard ground shipping (UPS/FedEx/USPS) is not permitted as it does not provide adequate protection for items of this scale.

  • We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance for the full value of the table.

4. Condition of Return

To be eligible for a refund (minus the restocking fee):

  • The table must be in the exact condition in which it was received.

  • It must be returned in its original packaging or an equivalent professional crate.

  • Any signs of use, scratches, water marks, or modifications will result in a denial of the refund.

5. The Return Process

  1. Request: Email [Mark@slabresinlab.com] with your order number and the reason for the return.

  2. Authorization: If approved, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and a shipping address.

  3. Logistics: You must book the freight carrier and provide us with the tracking number.

  4. Inspection: Once the table arrives at our studio, our craftsmen will inspect it for damage.

  5. Refund: Following a successful inspection, your refund (Total Purchase Price - 40% Restocking Fee) will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

6. Damaged in Transit (Inbound)

If the table arrives at our facility damaged due to poor packaging or carrier mishandling during the return trip, the buyer must file a claim with their insurance provider. No refund will be issued by Slabresinlab for items that arrive damaged.
